The School of Education at the University of Nottingham is looking to appoint an expert in English Language Teacher Education. This is an opportunity to join an international group of colleagues interested in exploring the theory and practice of education, across all its dimensions, locally and globally, with a commitment to enhancing diversity, inclusion, and justice.

You will contribute to the teaching of the secondary ITE programme, will be part of the English subject team, and work closely with colleagues on other ITE programmes and the ITE leadership team. You will contribute to the teaching and development of ITE programmes and to other programmes offered by the School as appropriate (e.g. the BA Education, MA Education or PGCE International).
You will provide a consistently excellent standard of teaching and support for student learning that is underpinned by scholarship related to secondary English education and teacher development, to contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and enhancement. You will undertake continuing professional development and work in partnership with staff and students to maintain the highest standards in all areas of their work.
You will have a Masters degree (or equivalent) and relevant experience in a secondary context.
