Position Overview & Specifications
Terrells LLP seeks a multiple talented Family Paralegal/ Trainee on a full-time, permanent basis. We are a Lexcel accredited practice in Peterborough actively seeking a paralegal/Trainee to assist with a broad range of family matters. Successful candidates will be involved in the continued growth of the business, whilst ensuring excellent client care at all times. Terrells LLP are keen to develop individuals and encourage Training, growth and professional progress.
Candidate will be required to work in the office, Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities
- Processing incoming telephone calls;
- Welcoming clients;
- Taking new enquiries;
- Opening and closing files;
- Conveying messages;
- Providing administrative support;
- Assisting fee earners with work on files; and
-Assisting with the post and administrative tasks.
The Candidate
- Administration assistants, Paralegals or Trainee with a keen eye for detail;
- Previous family law experience is desirable but not essential;
- Experience of working within a law firm is desirable but not essential;
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships with clients;
- A flexible team player; and
- Good working knowledge of Case Management Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
