Position Overview & Specifications

Shift pattern: Monday – Sunday 16:30-23:00 hours backshift and overnight 23:00-08:00. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
The post holder will be a registered nurse who will support the district nurse in delivering care to patients within the caseload, providing accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies.
The post holder will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience to lead and enable the district nursing team to provide a quality nursing service.
The post holder will manage delegated activity within the caseload, and provide support to other members of district nursing team.
Recent experience working within a community setting is desirable
