Data Research Analyst - Music Industry A&R

We are looking for an A&R Data Analyst to help launch our new label. The ideal candidate is someone who has an excellent understanding of music metrics and is comfortable analysing large quantities of data.

WHAT WILL THE JOB INVOLVE?

• Exploring, collating and presenting insights into unsigned or undiscovered songs from a range of music data.
• Communicating these insights on a daily basis to our operations team.
• Discovering songs through social media (TikTok, Discord, Instagram etc), DSPs and websites (such asMusic Connect, Instrumental, Chartmetric, Mediabase, Vibernate).
• Assisting the operations team with reach outs and helping to finalise deals.
• Constructing new methods to draw insights using data.

RELEVANT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working with research data analytics or streaming; preferably but not necessarily in the music industry.
• Expertise in extracting excellent songs from social media platforms and DSPs.
• A thorough understanding of TikTok: you are constantly up to date on trends with a track record offinding undiscovered music through the platform.
• A knowledge of quantitative tools such as Instrumental, Chartmetric, Vibernate, Music Connect,Mediabase etc.
• Comfortable with handling large sets of data.
• A love of music, an understanding of the music landscape & an ear for discovering hits, before they become hits.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £20,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
