Freelance Copywriter - Remote

AXD Agency is looking for a passionate writer with significant experience writing for SaaS, technology or finance organisations who can quickly adapt to the requirements of individual projects while maintaining exceptional quality and creating original content. This role will require you to become an expert in our client's products/services and subject matter and write clear and concise copy for blogs, and sales documentation such as; solution briefs and ebooks, brochures, websites and more. Your words will inform, convince and engage target audiences worldwide.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced B2B SaaS/technology copywriter with proven experience delivering content in a B2B environment. An autonomous worker who is happy to take the lead in researching and delivering content with a high level of depth and accuracy aimed at senior business leaders. Some of our projects work on tight deadlines, so it is essential you have the ability and flexibility to meet deadlines. If you grasp project requirements quickly, understand SEO well and take pride in the copy you produce, we would like to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-depth research to support content writing quality.
• Write well-researched, high-level SEO content based on identified topics and keywords for blogs, newsletters, articles, educational pieces/guides, websites and landing pages.
• Write high-level sales materials such as product solution briefs, ebooks, product and service brochures, video scripts and email campaigns.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Director to plan and develop thought-leadership content targeted at senior business leaders in technology, finance and education organisations.
• Bring fresh ideas that push creative work forward.
• Use SEO principles to maximise reach.
• Be proactive and understand the power of good content, delivering assets to the best of your ability.
• Be willing to iterate quickly and accept constructive feedback.
• Flexibility and ability to meet tight deadlines (sometimes at short notice).

Key Skills:

• Experience writing for B2B SaaS/Tech environment essential
• Minimum 2 years of copywriting experience
• Understanding of Search Engine Optimisation
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English (UK & US)
• Experience in planning & carrying out research using multiple sources
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, often with short deadlines

Initially, 20 hours of writing per week will be offered to the successful applicant with an expectation of approximately 500 words per hour. With the potential to increase weekly hours as the business grows.

Salary: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
