Company Manager - Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time, Company Manager on the London production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, this new play by Jack Thorne received its world premiere in London’s West End at the Palace Theatre in summer 2016. The critically acclaimed production is the most awarded West End play in the history of the Olivier Awards, winning a record-breaking nine awards including Best New Play and Best Director in 2017.

Your duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of a Company Manager on a first-class West End production. Please see the attached job description for further details.

Candidates will require relevant hands-on professional experience in theatre, the ability to work under pressure, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organisational and time management qualities.

We will provide any management, mental health, and first aid training as necessary.

Job Location: West End London.

Contract Type: A year contract in the first instance, then the contract will be rolling.

Salary: Competitive Company Manager salary, in excess of SOLT/Equity for a Category A theatre. Whilst a buyout, overtime is paid for hours in excess of 8 per day from the third working day onwards. In addition, if hours exceed an average of 48 across a 52 week period, a lump sum is calculated and paid annually. Plus yearly cast change bonus and Sunday pay where applicable.

Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks (Tuesday to Sunday); 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
